TANDM is an operator-led consulting firm helping founder-led service businesses Digital Agencies and Professional Businesses in the $2M–$50M revenue range become exit-ready. We do the operational and structural work that closes the gap between businesses that take depressed offers and businesses that take premium ones. Eighteen to twenty-four months of structured engagement built on the Exit-Ready Method™ TANDM's proprietary six-phase framework that integrates operator experience on both sides of Digital Agencies and Professional Businesses M&A, founder experience scaling and selling service businesses, and methodological foundations from strategic partners working in M&A operations, scaling discipline, and sales methodology.

OUR WORK
Consulting. The core practice. TANDM consultants engage with founder-led businesses for 6–24 months through structured engagements built on the Exit-Ready Method™. Seven specific practices, from Exit Planning through Owner Independence, calibrated to category and engagement scope.
M&A preparation. The capability that distinguishes TANDM from generic operational consulting. We don't run sale processes we do the operational preparation that lets brokers and M&A advisors run premium-priced sale processes 12–24 months from now. This work is informed directly by Brian Cross's experience leading M&A and corporate development at Omnicom DAS through its 1-to-36-office expansion meaning we know exactly what holdco and PE diligence teams look for and exactly what produces multiple expansion in service business M&A.
Community. TANDM builds community around the founder-led exit-readiness journey. Cohort engagements bring 8–12 founders together for six-month structured programs. Local Jumpmaster meetups and community events. Founder peer networks that continue beyond the formal engagement period. The community work reflects the conviction that founders make better decisions when they're talking with other founders who are doing the same work.

Most of our clients are founder-led, in the second decade of building the business, and 18–36 months from a planned exit, partnership transition, or generational succession. Some are not actively preparing for transaction but want the operational maturity that produces transaction optionality. The work is the same. The framing differs.


OUR APPROACH
Three principles drive how we work. First, we do the operational work alongside the founder rather than producing decks the founder is supposed to execute. The engagement is hands-on, week-by-week, with documented progress against the Exit-Ready Method™ phases. Second, we don't do the work the founder should do themselves strategic vision, key relationship management, ultimate accountability. We do the structural and operational work that converts the founder's vision into a business that operates without requiring the founder's day-to-day presence. Third, we tell the truth about what we see. The diagnostic at the start of every engagement produces an honest assessment of where the business is and what 18–24 months of work could realistically achieve. We don't sell engagements to founders whose situations don't fit the methodology.
